Our team competes in the FIRST Robotics Competition, an annual worldwide high school robotics competition. About 3000 teams participate. During January and February of each year, we build a robot that we then take to competitions in late winter.
FTC stands for FIRST Tech Challenge, and is one of the FIRST Robotics programs. FIRST Tech Challenge is similar to FIRST Robotics Competition, with some significant differences.
We are currently identifying interested students entering 9th grade at Bloomington Kennedy and students entering 8th grade who live within the Kennedy school boundary. If you are interested or have further questions, you may email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit us at one of our upcoming events.
Interested students may apply at any point in the school year to join the team. To begin the process, fill out a contact form to give us basic information about yourself. We will get back to you with more information and answer any questions you may have. If you want to know more about the team, you may also come to one of our team sessions in the Kennedy Wood Shop. Check the calendar for dates and times.
If you have any questions, you may contact our faculty advisor, Mr. Paul Lindemann, by email at email@example.com.
